FAQs
Cleaning of the products
It is vital not to let dirt build up over time on items of leather clothing. Never use products containing solvents to clean them. Clean and nourish the hide to keep it soft and pliable. If you don’t have a cream you can always use a sponge or a clean cloth and cold water with a little neutral soap as detergent. After cleaning the item, leave it to completely dry well away from any sources of heat (e.g. the sun, radiators, ...) and, if possible, on a flat surface or on a suitable hanger.
You can always try to remove dirt using a leather special cleaning and protection, carefully following the application method and using a soft cloth and gently rubbing the surface with delicate circular movements, never concentrating overly on the mark. Finally you need to dry away from direct light and heat. However, if you are not satisfied with the result it would always be best to contact a specialist leather cleaner.
Do not rub down the garment with a brush or abrasive materials or creams. To remove both gnats and dust, simply wipe the area with a soft sponge soaked in neutral soap and water. It is best to promptly remove any organic spots left by insects (e.g. gnats, mosquitoes etc.), since the fluids they contain are quite aggressive on the leather.
Any oil or grease should be washed immediately with a soft damp cloth, clean with gentle circular movements, avoiding to unduly rubbing the soiled area. Dry the garment away from heat sources and in a well-ventilated place, it is best to use a clothes hanger to prevent the garment from creasing or taking on shapes that are difficult to eliminate.
Remember to take great care with garments made of several different materials. In this case, it is essential that you follow the instructions on the garment label. Textile fabrics and leather must be cleaned differently.
Use shoe polish to stain your helmet and then get a soak of alcohol with a clean cloth. Scrub away and you´re done!.

No, Garibaldi has developed a new hi-tech fabric called Wax-Cotton Look for the Heritage jacket with the same aesthetic and functional features as the wax cotton fabric had. When a garment is dried after it is accidentally wet, the hide may appear dry or stiff. To restore its initial characteristics use cleaning & protection cream for leather in order to clean and maintain it rich and soft, feeding the leather and keeping it hydrated. Normal cleaning and care must always be done when dry.
D-Ring or Double-D ring fasteners are the best type of helmet fastener you´ll find on modern motorcycle helmets.
They consist of two metal D-rings on one side of the fastener and a simple strap on the other as well as an attached red removal tab.
Thread the strap through both DD Rings. Curl the first strap back to go to the first DD Ring. Tighten firmly. Curl it back and snap it good
Remove the anti-fog lens from its packaging. Clean and wipe away any dust on the visor.
The Pins have an excentric design to adjust the tension on the lens. Make sure that the pin indicator is facing outwards when installing a new lens. Flex the visor. Mount the lens with the silicone seal facing the visor. Place one side of the lens with the slit placed against the Pin. Then place the other side of the lens on the Pin and if needed slightly bend the lens to make it fit. Make sure the silicone seal is in full contact with the visor and there are no gaps. Peel off the protective foil from the lens. Reinstall the visor on the helmet.
Precautions before washing
As with leather, it is important that you do not allow dirt to build up on fabric garments, which over time may seep between the weave of the fabric and become very hard to remove.
Garibaldi garments in fabric or with waterproof and breathable membranes such as Raintechnology should be washed in luke warm water (max. 30°C) with softener free, neutral soap, instead of detergents containing solvents and abrasives, unless otherwise indicated on the garment's label. When washing make sure you treat the outer fabric very delicately, excess rubbing may damage the fibres. What's more it is important to remember to dry the garment in a dry place away from direct light and heat.
Remember to take great care with garments made of several different materials. In this case, always and only follow the instructions on the garment label: the indications must be strictly observed.
Yes, the lining must be washed separately in water at 40°C max; Garibaldi recommends that you use a neutral soap and not a detergent powder which might be abrasive.
Yes, it is best to remove protections

Cuidado de guantes
Leather gloves are best not washed but just cleaned and nourished (see question 1).
aribaldi recommends to wash fabric gloves in Primaloft® and in Raintechnology membrane delicately in luke warm water (max. 40°C) and with non-abrasive, softener free neutral soap.
All technical fabrics, including elasticized versions, must always be given a very delicate cleaning
treatment. In particular high-tech fibres with mechanical properties must be treated with softener free,
neutral detergents.
Softeners can significantly weaken the waterproof and wax-cotton look outshells and
even damage the resin coatings and multi-purpose membranes in Polyurethane.
Hang them by their cuffs, with the fingertips pointing downwards in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and heat.
